On my last visit to Sydney, I fell in love with this book that my sister had. I kept dreaming of two of the bags in it. Dreaming so much of these bags, I just had to have a rummage through my stash and make one. Shock horror - yes, I used my stash! I ditched trying to make out the pattern and made up my own based on the photos in the book. I quite like my first attempt. I will do my best to fill it up (it's quite big) with all my stuffs and love it tenderly. I've used a blue linen fabric for the outer - I've either got this from a Designer's Guild sale or my brother in laws factory (he's an upholsterer). The interior is a couple of years old - Fruit Cocktail by Chloe's Closet for Moda.

Oh my - you're a wizard. That's gorgeous. Lucky my birthday is coming up, right??
your cheeky little sister, but I'm inspressed espcially because its written in Japanese...
The bag and the fabrics you used are just awesome~ great job.
(i found your blog by way of the meet me at mikes tea party..)
That bag is just lovely - I find it so hard to find nice linen locally - I need to look further afar. The lining looks great.
I understand about the stash too - I often get all my faves out and admire them...then put them away again! Well done for using some of your faves.
Lovely blog!
