Denim Skirt

A while ago this pattern caught my eye. Pattern C is sort of 70's with it's pork chop pockets. It reminds me of skirt my Mum had when I was growing up. So, when I found this Ksubi denim, I knew exactly what I was going to make. Now it claims to be a one hour skirt, but it took a little longer than that, but that doesn't matter, I really love the way it turned out. Lots.

My 10 year model was doing his best facial poses, but I was only interested in showing the skirt! I nervously chose the contrasting topstitch cotton. Working with such a strong contrast on clothing can be tricky to imagine, but I really like the way it has turned out.

Dear, dear choccy bangles, can I join the fan club? It was just brilliant meeting you the other day, am so disappointed that the only photo I have of you is a blurry hemline, (you'll be pleased to know that the decolletage shot of the necklace was even worse).
You're super,
much love
